Martial arts has been a part of my life for the last 15 years and it has been truly transformative.
Different to most activities that we enjoy as we grow up, Martial Arts and in particular Brazilian Jiu Jitsu will teach you valuable life skills such as how to defend yourself, develop a genuine self confidence and allow you to test these skills in a safe setting!

No. Beginners are more than welcome with sessions for all levels.
Not initially, you can try out a few classes and then make an investment in a Gi if you wish. One can be purchased through the team but we can recommend plenty of other brands.
We do not offer a Drop In option for members unfortunately, a monthly membership would be required to train consistently in the gym. Visitors are welcome though!
Probably not, we have members of various ages and the community around the world has a wide demographic. From kids to people in their 70s.

HYGIENE
Please ensure the following measures are taken:-
Wash if required before class
Trim all your nails and keep them short
Do NOT train with open cuts
Do NOT train with any skin infections
Do NOT train with an exposed piercing
Train in clean training wear
UNIFORM
Please ensure the following measures are taken:-
No pockets on any item of clothing
No zips on any item of clothing
No metal parts of any kind
No rips or holes
No jewellery
Kept clean and no stains
Minimum of 2 layers to be worn at all times (underwear and Gi bottoms, underwear and spats/shorts)
For members, please wear specific grappling attire or items where pockets are sewn up for every class to ensure the safety of your training partners.
